The 1st of July has passed and from this point onwards any signings can be announced at any time. We can hope that there are some deals being worked on in the background and we will get some activity before the start of pre-season.
However outside of Transfers there are plenty of dates to think of that will/could directly affect us throughout the 1st half of the season, so I just thought would detail them in one place. Obviously, things on here subject to change but I will add where I got the information from in brackets.
Transfer Windows

· The transfer window for the men is completely open and will close on Monday 1st September. (Premier League) The window will shut at 7pm and then if you watch Deadline Day will all be about deal sheets and late announcements from there.
· The Winter window for the men is open from January 1st, 2026, until February 3rd
· As for the Lasses their transfer window is also open and will close at 11pm on Thursday 4th September.
Champions League

All Information from UEFA Website.
The excitement of us being back in the Champions League will really build when it gets to the draw.
The Draw takes place on Thursday 28th August.
There are 8 Match days against 8 different teams, 4 home 4 away. Next to the dates below are who we play in the League following that game which could be a very interesting dynamic as the 1st half of the season unfolds. I have only included the Group dates for now as it runs until the end of January.

Men’s International Breaks

International breaks can be a blessing or a curse. There’s that nervous look at results beyond England as we see if the likes of Bruno, Tonali and Isak made it through unscathed. (Dates from FIFA)
International Break 1 - 1st – 9th September
International Break 1 – 6th-14th October
International Break 1 – 10th-18th November
International Break 1 – 23rd-31st March
A little note about the Men’s international break, last season there were three significant Newcastle Women’s fixtures that fell on international breaks.
Our Mackem Slayer Beth Lumsden inspired a win against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Our 1st game in the 2nd Tier to be played at St James Park
A Record-Breaking crowd of 38500+ were at St James Park to see us complete the double over Sunderland.
So, when there are those gaps in football for the men’s team keep an eye on the fixtures for the lasses, because you may be able to get to St James Park and there may be a chance to be a part of more History.
That may not have been the most interesting of reads always good to know especially as fans start to map out the season, plan their travel, work out dream teams and think about predictions.
