The Week For Newcastle United 12
Newcastle United returned from the international break with another week of inconsistency on the pitch. We followed a brilliant victory at home to Manchester City by getting beat away at Marseille on Tuesday. There is no shame in losing an away tie in the Champions League, especially against an established European side like Marseille but the frustrating part for me is the way it happened. It never sits well with me to single out one player for the result. Anthony Gordon’s fo

Newcastle United 1-3 Everton | Match Report
While Newcastle cannot qualify, this fixture is about pride and progress. Everton, despite inconsistent form, remain favourites due to their WSL pedigree. There is no doubt The Lasses will want to impress in front of the newly appointed manager in Tanya Oxtoby, who was watching on in the fancy seats as Claire Ditchburn took charge of her last game as interim manager. At the half-hour mark, Everton struck first, they were awarded a free-kick just outside the box, Yuka Momiki

A Simple Football Memory
I looked up at my desk Calendar and realised today was marked the 23 rd anniversary of one of my fondest Newcastle memories. The Year was 2002 and the chances of Newcastle United reaching the Champions League second Group stage were all bit finished going into Game week 4. We had lost our first three games in the group without scoring a single goal and with a star studied Juventus coming to Juventus coming to Tyneside it looked unlikely we would make it through. An Unlikely

The Week For Newcastle United 11
It was a comfortable night’s work at St James Park last night as Newcastle United dispatched of Athletic Bilbao with relative ease. Truth be told it was an average game with glimpses of quality during the game. The standout moment was Dan Burn’s header to put us 1-0 up. The ball in from Trippier was outstanding, lack of marking from Bilbao left Burn free for the header but how it curled in the back of the net was a joy to behold and will be a goal that will stick in the mind.

Becky Langley statement
“I would like to thank the senior management team for giving me the opportunity to manage Newcastle United Women’s Football Club over the past six years. The experiences and memories will stay with me for a lifetime. “A major summer of recruitment, along with significant facility improvements, brought many transitions to navigate. We put in considerable effort to build on last season’s excellent fifth-place finish, but early results this season did not reflect the quality of
