A Simple Football Memory
I looked up at my desk Calendar and realised today was marked the 23 rd anniversary of one of my fondest Newcastle memories. The Year was 2002 and the chances of Newcastle United reaching the Champions League second Group stage were all bit finished going into Game week 4. We had lost our first three games in the group without scoring a single goal and with a star studied Juventus coming to Juventus coming to Tyneside it looked unlikely we would make it through. An Unlikely

The Week For Newcastle United 11
It was a comfortable night’s work at St James Park last night as Newcastle United dispatched of Athletic Bilbao with relative ease. Truth be told it was an average game with glimpses of quality during the game. The standout moment was Dan Burn’s header to put us 1-0 up. The ball in from Trippier was outstanding, lack of marking from Bilbao left Burn free for the header but how it curled in the back of the net was a joy to behold and will be a goal that will stick in the mind.

Becky Langley statement
“I would like to thank the senior management team for giving me the opportunity to manage Newcastle United Women’s Football Club over the past six years. The experiences and memories will stay with me for a lifetime. “A major summer of recruitment, along with significant facility improvements, brought many transitions to navigate. We put in considerable effort to build on last season’s excellent fifth-place finish, but early results this season did not reflect the quality of

Of course, we want to see our academy team succeeding with wins and points on the board but it’s more important that the players are developing and getting plenty of football. This is just a basic look the under 21s results on the pitch and the stats of the players. I am reliant on st

Newcastle led through Jude Cogdon on 38 Minutes and as the minutes dwindled down it looked

The Week for Newcastle United 9
Thank you, Becky Langley, The 1 st place for me to start is the shocking departure of Becky Langley as manager of Newcastle United women. Regardless of which side (if any) of the argument of whether the decision was right or wrong the overwhelming sense of thanks and gratitude for everything that Becky has done for the club poured out from the Newcastle United women’s community. Becky Langley led the lasses from the 4 th tier to the championship/WSL2 and was in charge as we

Newcastle 3-3 Man City | Match Report
The crisp autumn air at Gateshead International Stadium set the stage for a compelling encounter as Newcastle United welcomed Manchester City in the second round of the Subway Women’s League Cup group stage. Anticipation buzzed through the stands as a top WSL arrived on Tyneside, something Becky Langley has always wanted, Andrée Jeglertz’s City side arrived fresh off a confident 3–1 win over Everton, while the Magpies looked to bounce back from a narrow 2–1 away defeat to No
