After coming back from a goal behind to beat The Saints on Thursday Evening, all eyes are on Stamford Bridge as Newcastle face Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.

Magpies boss Eddie Howe has an impressive streak when it comes to facing this weekends opponents at Stamford Bridge winning three out of the 5 times he has been when managing Bournemouth.

Should Newcastle avoid defeat to Tuchel’s men, their unbeaten run would stretch to ten games. United’s revival from a dismal first half of the campaign has seen them rise to 14th place and ten points from the relegation zone, only four points separate the North East outfit from a place in the top half of the table and also have a game in hand over Southampton who are currently 10th. Newcastle’s away record recently has see them pick up ten points in their last 4 games on the road.

Chelsea are looking to make it five Premier League victories in a row but no doubt hoping that their off field situation does not have a negative effect on the players. The Blues quite easily dispatched Norwich 3-1 on Thursday Evening. Out of the 27 league games so far this term, Chelsea have collected 56 points with leaves them eight points clear of fourth place arsenal. Tuchel’s side currently have the second best away record of the season but have been held to a draw on five occasions in front of their home support.

Chelsea Team News: Ben Chilwell and Reece James will miss out Sundays fixture. Christian Pulisic, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marco Alonso are all doubtful. Andreas Christensen could be recalled to the starting line up. N’Golo Kante, Antonio Rudiger and Hakim Ziyech are expected to start, so too will be Kai Havertz and Mason Mount who scored on their outing against Norwich on Thursday.

Newcastle United Team News: Eddie Howe says that he has no fresh serious injury problems within the squad. Joelinton didn’t feature against Southampton with a groin injury but did travel with the team. Bruno Guimaraes scored on his full debut but went off around the hour mark, thankfully Eddie Howe has confirmed that it was just cramp. Allan Saint-Maximin missed the game against the Saints through illness and it’s unsure if he will feature against Chelsea.

Suttys’s Match Prediction: Even though this is arguably the toughest fixture over the recent weeks for Newcastle, I wouldn’t be surprised if they managed to get a point or take all three with the form they are in. Chelsea are in good form themselves though and will be desperate to keep their run going. I am predicting a draw this weekend but in reality it could go either way. Score Line Prediction 2-2.
