It's with deep regret Newcastle Fans TV have parted ways with Nova Radio North East.

NFTV have had a wonderful 14 months since the merger of NE1 FM & Nova Radio North East, we have learnt so much from taking controls of a station, having a structure & broadcasting in a professional environment.

We must give our huge thanks to two particular people - Ivan, who week after week helped our team make sure we were set up expertly with mics & had the audio perfect for our radio listeners, with out him - we'd sound very unprofessional. Secondly - Dean, he has liaised with our group on a regular basis, keeping us in check, encouragement & giving us valuable advice.

Our Black & White Show will continue on our own platforms on a weekly basis, nothing will change for our video audience, however this allows us to be more flexible on days & how we can structure our show with our new system we have recently purchased. It's unclear if we are to approach another station at this time.

There are some fantastic people at Nova Radio who give up their time to volunteer for the station, which we feel gets forgotten about at times. If management were to be more transparent with their volunteers, check up on the morale & to actively engage with their volunteers, this could prosper the station.

We'd all like to thank everyone Nova Radio North East the very best for the near, medium & long term future. Stay tuned for what have in store in the pipeline.
